In Case You Missed It: Spring Break Camp

What a great week at Spring Break Clay Camp this year! We loved spending Spring Break with all of the students who joined us and seeing the creative ideas that they brought to life through clay. Camp would not have been possible without Suzanne Renfrow who shared her knowledge with us throughout the week, so thank you Suzanne!

From pinch pots to pizza to Pokemon, students were always coming up with something new to make. They took to heart the idea that we are all artists and let their creativity fly! After making their pieces out of clay, students were able to add color and a clear glaze if they wanted to, bringing their pieces to life. Now that camp is over, Suzanne will fire each student’s work in her kiln. Students will be able to pick up all of their work once everything has been fired.

If you missed Spring Break Clay Camp or are looking for something exciting for your kids to do during the summer, we will also be hosting four different summer camps this year. More information about summer camps at the Kentucky Museum can be found on our website.
