2017 Fall Break Art Camp is Under Two Weeks Away!

Fall Break is sneaking up fast! Are you still looking for some exciting possibilities for your child’s week off school? Well, we’ve got just what you ordered! This year’s Fall Break Art Camp at the Kentucky Museum, “Exploring Art,” is sure to be a hit!

This art camp will emphasize the process that artists use in developing artwork. Campers will work through an artistic process that includes sketching, painting, and working with shape in order to create slab built clay masks.

Professional artist-educator Cutivetti Dye will be teaching this exciting camp. He believes that art provides opportunities for children to communicate and problem solve while expressing themselves creatively.

This week long day camp will take place from 8:30 am – 12:00 pm, Monday, October 2nd – Friday, October 6th. Along with creating some amazing art, campers will take a snack break daily around 10:15 am. Snacks and drinks are provided by the Kentucky Museum.

Fall Break Camp is open to all children ages 6 – 13. The registration fee is $110 for Kentucky Museum members and $125 for non-members.

Spots for Fall Break Camp are still available, so don’t hesitate to sign your child up today! For more information on this year’s camp, please visit our website, or if you would like to be linked directly to the registration page, click here.

We can’t wait to see everyone and create some awesome artwork at Fall Break Camp!
